Shoreline Community College
is a member of the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC).
NWAACC is the governing body for community college athletics in Washington and Oregon
and is divided into four geographical regions. Shoreline competes in the Northern Region
of the NWAACC. Shoreline also participates in non-leagues games throughout the western
United States.
Shoreline Community College's athletic/physical education facilities are housed in the
3000 building. Indoor facilities include a full-size gymnasium with a seating
capacity of 2000, a fitness center,
a mini gym, racquetball courts, and several classrooms. The
entire facility is open 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday through
Friday. However, the Fitness Center is open
until 6:00pm Monday through Fridays. Saturday hours during the quarter are 8:00
AM to Noon in the Fitness Center, with no hours available during "Breaks" or
Holidays. Students are welcome to
use the facilities whenever there are no classes scheduled.
The outdoor facilities include an all weather track, jogging trails, and soccer field.
The college coordinates scheduling of facilities for softball, tennis, and
baseball with Shoreline Parks.
