He played soccer at both Blanchet High School and Shoreline Community College. Since 1988 he has played in the GSSL First Division and Premier Division. He has an extensive coaching resume including stops at Edmonds-Woodway High School (four years) and Mountlake Terrace High School (nine years). He graduated from the University of Washington in 1991 with B.A.'s in Political Science and History. He received his Certificate of Education in 1992. The intercollegiate men's soccer season begins with turnout in late August and concludes in mid-November with the NWAACC championships. The 2004 SCC schedule of 24 matches will be played against the toughest competition in Washington, Oregon and Canada. The traveling squad size is 20 players.
