Students will be required to assume tuition, technology and distance learning fees, parking fees, and text book costs and other miscellaneous expenses. Costs will be less in the following instances:

·        Students are residents of the state of Washington for the length of time defined by the college and going to school on a full time basis.
·        Students are entering the program Fall Term and going to school full time.
·        Courses are taken in sequence as outlined and without the need for any developmental or prerequisite classes.

Overall costs may be higher for the following types of students.

·        Those who have not been residents of the state of Washington for the length of time as defined by the College.
·        Part-time students.
·        Students requiring developmental or prerequisite classes or those taking additional elective courses.
·        Students not entering the program Fall Quarter.

The average number of credits for full-time students in the HCI programs is 17 credits per quarter which can help in preparing cost estimates. Please keep in mind that tuition costs and other fees generally rise each year so the student should refer to the current quarter class schedule for applicable fees in place at that time.
