Health
Care Information Programs

Updated
8/6/07
Students will be
required to assume tuition, technology and distance learning fees, parking fees,
and text book costs and other miscellaneous expenses. The following assumptions
are made in preparing these cost estimates. Please keep in mind that tuition
costs and other fees generally rise each year so the student should refer to the
current quarter class schedule for applicable fees in place at that time.
·
Students are residents of the state of Washington for the length of
time defined by the college and going to school on a full time basis.
·
Students are entering the program Fall Term.
·
Courses are taken in sequence as outlined and without the need for
any developmental or prerequisite classes.
Overall costs
may be higher for the following types of students.
·
Those who have not been residents of the state of Washington for
the length of time as defined by the College.
·
Part-time students.
·
Students requiring developmental or prerequisite classes or those
taking additional elective courses.
·
Students taking more than 18 credit hours per quarter.
·
Students not entering the program Fall Quarter.
Resident and Non-Resident Tuition
The college does not charge the regular
Non-Resident Citizen tuition rates for online courses. That normal charge
is for face-to-face campus or hybrid courses. The Non-Resident Distance
Learning Program tuition rate is considerably lower. Click

Non-Resident Citizen, Non-Resident Distance Learning Program and other total

In
addition, clinical practice rotations may require parking fees or bus
fare/mileage to and from the sites depending on the assignment. At
their own expense, students may need to obtain a current physical exam,
TB test, and other appropriate immunizations or tests. Professional
office clothing will be required for clinical practice sites, so
students lacking appropriate office attire should gradually add to their
wardrobes as needed. Fees for criminal background checks for clinical
practice will be required. |
