Sponsored by the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory. The
model contains a scoring guide for problem solving, open-ended
tasks, and examples of student work for practice in scoring.
Science and Mathematics Consortium for Northwest Schools
The Science and Mathematics Consortium for Northwest Schools is one
of the ten "Regional Eisenhower Consortia" established by Congress
and administered by the U.S. Department of Education. This web site to be used
by teachers and other educators to: 1) access information and resources that
may be time-consuming to find elsewhere; and 2) enhance their ability to teach
mathematics and science.

Math in Daily Life offers a number of exhibits that connect math
concepts with everyday situations and tasks. The site also includes an
extensive list of math-related print and electronic resources.
Topics In Mathematics
From the Math Archives, this site has a great collection of links to
various WWW resources on Mathematics that are organized by topics.
In addition, the site allows you to search by keyword and icons are
used to show the level of mathematical background needed to read the materials
on the site and the type of materials available on the site.

An online community of teachers, students, researchers, parents,
educators, and citizens at all levels who have an interest in math and
math education. Math Forum features discussion groups, Internet
newsletter, teacher and student resource center as well as Ask Dr. Math.
Washington State Mathematics Council
The Washington State Mathematics Council (WSMC) is a professional
organization that exists to promote and influence mathematics education. The
membership is committed to developing, supporting, and encouraging
opportunities that lead to quality mathematics curricula and effective
instruction. This site contains links to relevant resources as well as a link
to Washington Mathematics
